Autologous Osteoblast Implantation – Ossron

Autologous osteoblast implantation is a method of treatment used for handling osseous disorders and fractures and also gives and in autologous bone grafting. Osteoblastic tissues are mononucleate cells which has the ability to reproduce bone tissues in places of missing or defective bone parts. Osteocytes are specifically specialized in producing mesenchymal stem cells for certain bone grafting categories as well as for replacement and filling up of defective bone cavity. The native regeneration mechanism includes two types such as:

1) Osteoconduction

When graft material of bone is considered as scaffold when it stimulates new growth of bone. This condition is known as osteoconduction. Osteoblasts, which are the chief components of bone has its matrix function as a framework to initiate growth of new bone tissues.

2) Osteoinduction

The process of activation of osteoprogenitor cell to convert into osteoblasts is known as osteoinduction which leads further in formation of new osseous structure of bone. Bone implantation material which is osteoconductive and osteoinductive, both will not only be a scaffold for the currently surviving osteoblasts but also triggers newly generated osteoblast cells in order to accomplish the integration of the graft promptly.

Osteoblasts make up a dynamic bone by its ability to remold the shape of osseous. At the time of active bone formation some lively cells act as cuboidal cells and flatten cells will be present as inactive cells when they do not synthesize new bone structure. Osteocytes are very much more significant when bone has to be well maintained.

Method of autologous osteoblast

The bone marrow is sundered out from iliac crest of hip bone in order to separate out and receive osteoblasts. These cells of ossron are cultured in vitro for cultivation of mass bone tissues. The cultivated ossron is then injected along with angiogenic cells plus mesenchymal stem cells at the affected region are known as autologous osteoblast implantation. This promotes the filling of cavity with bone matrix graft and the bone implant at which it was injected benefits the yielding of new bone growth as well as healing the affected region of osseous.
